Welcome to Ryedale Vineyards - Traditional Guest Accommodation in a Vineyard Setting

Twelve miles from the historic walled cathedral city of York, Ryedale Vineyards provides a tranquil rural setting for short or long stays - the ideal spot from which to explore the majestic scenery and heritage of North Yorkshire. Enjoy wildlife and gardens, heritage and cultural sites, and sample the wide range of local pubs and restaurants providing the best in food and drink.

When they are in production, Ryedale Vineyards are set to become the most northerly commercial vineyards in England. Our two sites have been planted with a range of modern disease-resistant varieties as well as Seyval Blanc, Ortega, and Siegerrebe.  Trial batches of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Bacchus have also been planted. We will be producing red, white, rosé and sparkling wines, many of which will be made from organically grown grapes.
