Frequently Asked Questions
When do tours start again?
Our first tour is Saturday 11th July at 3pm. Numbers will be restricted and some changes will be made to the way we do the tour, but if you would rather reschedule your tour to next year, please let us know. All vouchers issued will be valid for 2021. We will of course be implementing strict cleaning and safety measures which we are still putting into place, this will involve small size tours, plenty of hand sanitiser available and visits to the winery in the groups you arrived with. With regards B&B stays, with just two rooms we will be working to ensure you are safe staying with us. We thank everyone for their support and patience, we as a family are hugely grateful.
How do I find you?
Our SatNav postcode is YO60 7LS however, we share a postcode with neighbouring farms. Going towards Leavening on the road signposted Leavening, Burythorpe & Thixendale we are the first farm on the right. We have two white signs at the top of our farm track. Although our postal address is Westow, we are on the road to Leavening. A map can be found here. Our ///what3words are bubbles.outlined.chaos.

When is the best time to visit the vineyard?
This very much depends on what you want to see. The vines are dormant and hard pruned over winter, around late spring bud burst occurs. Flowers appear on the vines usually in June and fruit starts forming straight after flowering. We harvest early to mid September right through October depending on the weather.
Can I stay overnight following my wine tour?
If we have availability it will be shown on our 'Book A Room' page. However, accommodation does get booked up very quickly, especially in summer and autumn. Tours are available Fridays and Saturdays only

For guests staying with us you can add the option of a wine tour and tasting to your booking. If a public tour is not scheduled we will hold a tour for guests on your day of arrival.

Yes wine and cider are sold direct from the cellar door.

My favourite wine is out of stock, can you make some more?
If only it was that easy. I am afraid quantities of wine are dictated by the previous years harvest, more will be made only after the next harvest. We are replanting as quickly as we are able to increase quantities. We do not buy in grapes or juice, everything we sell is grown on our vineyards.
Where can I buy your wine?
We have a list of stockists here or if you are local you can call to buy direct
Can we have our wedding at the vineyard?
We are in the process of producing a wedding brochure. We have a beautiful meadow at the vineyard which is perfect for marquees, if you require further information, please contact us.
Is your wine suitable for vegans?
Can I pop down to have a look around?
Whilst we love having visitors to talk to we are usually incredibly busy and we don't like to appear rude when we say we do not have time to show you around, so we would ask you to book on a tour if you can.
