Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the
following reasons:
- Vine Adopters Contact Details
- Volunteer Pickers Contact Details
- Harvest Newsletter (Once Annually)
- Bookings for tours, tastings, private events
- Bookings for staying with us
- General enquiries
- Goods bought online, on site or via telephone
We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following
scenarios:
If you message us via social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter Instagram, etc.
We use the information that you have given us in order to contact you regarding but not
limited to:
- Reminders of up-coming stays, tours and tastings that you have booked with us
- Automatic confirmation of bookings on tours, tastings immediately after booking
- Automatic confirmation of goods bought online
- Request for volunteers during harvest season
- Responding to enquires you have sent us
- Send out goods via our online store to your chosen address
We will not share this information with anyone unless you explicitly ask us to.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on
for processing this information are:

You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by

How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored on a server which is secured by a third party.
We keep your personal contact details, addresses for 12 months. We will then dispose your
information by deleting this from our server.
We keep email addresses for 24 months if no contact has been received and dispose of this
by deleting your address from our contact’s list.
Website user statistics are non-identifying. These are automatically deleted from the
website analytics server after 12 months rolling.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
- Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
- Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
